Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walks are the largest network of breast cancer awareness events in the nation, uniting more than 250 communities to lead the fight for a world without breast cancer.

In 2018 alone, the Greater Philadelphia and Southern New Jersey event saw 551 teams, more than 400 survivors, 15,000 walkers, and raised more than $500,000. That money helps the American Cancer Society fund life-saving research and mission programs and enables survivors and their families access to the care they need. These programs include free lodging through our Hope Lodge and hotel partners, free rides to and from treatment, free wigs, 24/7 access to information and guidance for any diagnosis, and much more.
